OVERVIEW
As part of the pilot project we are testing multiple MTR solutions. In order to better support your meeting please note the differences that may appear in your specific meeting room. We encourage you to book meetings in other rooms as well to test multiple systems.
HOW-TOs
Inviting an MTR to your Meeting
Using Outlook App is recommended. OWA (web) does not have Meeting Options
- Create a new Teams Meeting by clicking the Teams Meeting icon
- Invite the room’s MTR email account in the Required field along with the other invitees.
- Click on the Meeting Options button
- Under Meeting Access / Roles, set the following:
- Who can bypass the lobby? -> People who were invited (without this, the room will need to wait for organizers to admit)
- Who can present -> Everyone (without this, the organizers will need to permit when the room tried to screenshare)
- Send the meeting. You can also forward a Teams Meeting to the room's email address.
Four Ways to Join a Teams Meeting
- If you have previously invited the MTR to your meeting, you should see your meeting on the calendar and a “Join” button will appear.
- Scan the QR code in the top left of the touch pad to join one of your meetings happening now or in the next ten minutes.
- Using the Teams Room control panel, press the “Join with an ID” and enter your meeting room and pass code.
- Click the “Call” button and invite a user to the call. You will see the user listed as “external” with this pilot.
Using Your Team Room:

Joining a Zoom meeting
- Forward your Zoom meeting invitation to the Email address of the meeting room you are using
- Click “Join with an ID”, select Zoom, and enter the Meeting Credentials
Note: In order to share content with this configuration, you will need to join the zoom meeting from a separate laptop and share content on that laptop (ensure that the Speakers and microphone are muted on the laptop)
Sharing Locally
- Simply plug in the HDMI, or the USBc to your laptop. Use the “Share” button to toggle local screen sharing on and off.
- Your content should share automatically, if not click the "Share" button on the touch panel.
Running the Meeting from your own Device
Note: Currently only in Neat System in 11020
1. Locate the USB-C cable coming from the bar and plug in your laptop.
2. Swipe out from the right side of the screen to enter BYOD mode
3. You should now see the Neat Camera, Speaker, and Microphone in your chosen meeting application.
