  • Have a sponsored/role account expiring within a few months of its expiration date
  • Connected to SFUNET-SECURE/eduroam on campus or connected to SFU VPN if remote

Steps to renew your sponsored account

  1. Sign into the DAM portal. You'll see a list of accounts you manage, alongside their expiration date and status.
  2. Select Manage account that corresponds to the account you wish to renew. You can also select Renew and enter the details immediately if the account is expiring soon.
  3. Select the Account details tab.
  4. Select Renew next to the Expiry date field.
  5. Enter the account code to be charged, reference, and expiry date
    • Account code: Should be in the form of '7468-XX-XXXX-XXXXX', where 'X' is a number between 0-9. For projects, it should be in the form of '7468-XX-AXXXXXX', where 'X' is a number between 0-9 and 'A' is a letter.
    • Reference: The description for the charge that appears in the journal. You can enter 'Comp ID' for example, as as reminder of what the charge is for.
