Remove an Existing SFU Mail Account from Windows Mail for PC

OVERVIEW

This article describes how to remove an existing SFU Mail account from Windows Mail for PC. You'll need to complete this step if your account was migrated to the new SFU Mail (Exchange Online) and you are no longer receiving emails with the previous account setup in Windows Mail.

DETAILS

  1. Launch Windows Mail on your PC.
  2. In the Windows Mail interface, look for the "Settings" icon, represented by a gear. Click on it to access your account settings.
  3. Choose "Manage accounts" to view and edit your email accounts.
     
      
  4. Select the Email Account to remove. From the list of email accounts, click on the email account you want to remove.
  5. Click "Delete Account" as highlighted below to remove the account from your device.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)              
  6. Windows mail will ask for you to confirm the removal, click "Delete"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)                 
  7. Once the account is successfully removed, click "Done" to exit the account removal process.

 

RE-ADD YOUR SFU MAIL ACCOUNT

You're now ready to add your SFU Mail account. Outlook for PC is the recommended way to access your SFU inbox, contacts, and calendar on a Windows computer. However, if you'd like to continue using Windows Mail, see Sign into Windows Mail for PC
