End of Service: Digital Audio Recording System (DARS)
IT Services has officially ended the Legacy Digital Audio Recording System (DARS) service in early 2026 as part of the transition to integrated and upgraded lecture capture and classroom technologies. This decision was also based on growing security vulnerabilities within the legacy system environment.
- The service page (lectures.its.sfu.ca) is no longer available for content access.
- All recordings will remain securely stored and managed by IT Services in accordance with the University's records retention policies.
