Known Issue: Incorrect Meeting Times Displayed in Outlook for Mac and Some Apple Calendar Applications
We are investigating reports that recurring meetings scheduled after November 1 may appear one hour later than expected when viewed in Outlook for Mac and iOS and some Apple Calendar applications.
Impact
- Recurring meetings created for dates after November 1 may display one hour later than the intended time.
- The issue appears to affect Outlook Desktop for macOS and some Apple calendar clients.
- Meeting times appear correctly in Outlook on the Web (OWA) and Microsoft Teams for affected users.
Workaround
If you are using Outlook for Mac or an Apple calendar application and notice meetings showing one hour later than expected:
- Verify the meeting time using Outlook on the Web (OWA) or Microsoft Teams.
- Use the time shown in OWA/Teams as the authoritative meeting time.
- If you believe a meeting has been scheduled incorrectly, contact the IT Service Desk and provide the meeting details and screenshots from both applications.
IT Services is actively investigating the issue and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
